We've dropped some hints, and now it's time to make it official: we've got new stuff coming to No Boundaries. In the next couple weeks, look out for two new classes hitting the calendars: No Boundaries Training Camp and CrossFit Open Prep Course.
The week of January 23rd we will begin the inaugural run of our No Boundaries Training Camp.
The Training Camp is a 6-week comprehensive entry-level program designed to provide new athletes with the hands-on coaching and resources they need to get a taste for this fitness stuff that we can't seem to shut up about. For anyone who's curious about CrossFit but doesn't feel quite ready to jump into our regular GPP classes, or for those just looking to get 6-weeks of coaching in the basics and want to learn how to move well, the Training Camp's here for you. The program is tailor-made to meet athletes at whatever their current level of fitness and experience is, and will go through the basics of safe and efficient movement, properly applied intensity, and what this CrossFit and fitness stuff is all about.
The program will run for six consecutive weeks, and will include two 50-minute classes per week (we will offer a morning, evening, and Saturday class) as well as additional coaching and educational resources. Pass the message along to who may be interested!
In addition to the Training Camp, we will start our CrossFit Open Prep Course next Saturday, January 14th.
The course will be held every Saturday from 9:00-10:00am, and will replace our regularly scheduled 8:00am Saturday classes through the end of the CrossFit Open (the last Prep Course class will be held on March 18th). The Open Prep Course will look at past Open workouts and will cover skills, strategies, pacing, conditioning, and techniques to help you succeed (and have a good time!) in the 2017 CrossFit Open. The best part? This one's on us. For all current members of the gym, this course comes at no cost to you. The only pre-requisite is registration for the Open. Come have a good time and get some specialized performance training.
