Workout of the Day

What do you see?

temp-post-image

Just the other day I was talking about looking in the review mirror to truly recognize where all your effort was dedicated this last year. Looking backward allows you to really evaluate what worked and what didn't. This practice allows you to see the sum total of your efforts and how effective you were at chasing down the year's goals.

Inevitably you must shift your focus back to the windshield, looking forward to 2016. You can't drive forward very well if you are always looking behind you. Think about it, you throw the car in reverse with your foot on the brake. Look BEHIND YOU, in your mirrors, to make an adjustment before moving forward again. Once you've made your adjustment you apply the brake, LOOK FORWARD, put the car in drive and get movin' FORWARD.

Strange analogy, I know.. but it holds a true to making forward progress in life. No one ever succeed in anything by solely focusing on what's behind them or in the past.

So let me ask you a question...

Knowing what you know about 2015...what do you see in the future for 2016?

If you haven't started to identify the things, the goals, that you are going to passionately pursue for 2016, you are already behind. I have spoken to many of you about what you are looking to accomplish in the New Year already and I encourage the rest of you share those awesome ideas of yours with me.

If you need some direction, some help or a different perspective, don't hesitate...I'm here for you.

You don't even need to be an athlete at this gym. Just send me an email and I'll get you started in the right direction. That's a promise. You can email me here, info@noboundariesathletics.net.

"What's in your windshield," you ask.

I can only leave you with this for now...Discipline equals Freedom...

Some very powerful words as I look forward to 2016.
