A smile typically signifies a positive emotional state, happiness, satisfaction, kindness, and warmth. These are feelings that lead to an overall more positive mood, something I’m sure most of us could use a little extra of these days. The benefits of a positive mood can include improved heart health, stronger immune systems, and better overall mental health. If we compound the effects of this one simple action, smile by smile, we can accumulate “reps” in a simple practice that inevitably leads to so many positive side effects.

Make a choice to be apart of something, practice smiling today. Give one and you’ll get one. It might be enough to change someone’s day.
