Last big day before the holiday and one final Promo announcement. Let me remind of you a few important things first.
If your body is feeling a little worn down after all these months of diligent, smart training take some time to rest. This doesn't mean sit on the couch while we are closed on Thursday and Firday, it means stay away from the barbell and the burpees. Those muscles and joints are in need of some quality rest and recovery. In fact a good hike and some dedicated mobility would probably benefit you more than lifting weights and doing Metcons on the break.
Alternatively if you are feeling great we'll post a few workouts for you to do on Thursday and Friday. Come see us Saturday Morning at 8am when we resume our regular schedule.
If you feel like stretching your legs hit up one of the local 5k's or 10k's you can find all over this fine country of ours. Challenge yourself...actually RUN. It is my firm belief that most people should be able to show up and run a 5k or 10k with minimal training at best. That being said, if you have been training you should be pushing yourself pretty hard, no reason to jog when you can run. We have a few athletes running the Dana Point Turkey Trot, early Thursday, if you want to join them or cheer them on.
