CrossFit Open Athlete Highlight: Sierra


Every year, it brings the coaches at No Boundaries great pride to see our students entering boldly into the CrossFit Open. While we certainly inject a hefty dose of fun into the Open, the competition setting involves vulnerability and hard work, and that’s something we want to specifically recognize and appreciate.
Each week, we would like to recognize one of our students competing in the Open this year. This week, we celebrate Sierra.

Sierra has been a part of the No Boundaries family since 2015, and continues to excel in her strength, conditioning, and skills. Most recently, Sierra’s dedicated efforts have earned her the elusive skill of double-unders. We think Sierra’s hoping they’ll show up in the Open so she can put her training to the test, and it’s no secret that we’re hoping for the same. While the timeline may not always be what you’d like or expect, Sierra exemplifies what it means to be persistent, and shows us that the effort does pay off.

This Friday is the second week of the CrossFit Open Friday Night Lights - the event starts at 5pm. Come by to cheer Sierra and all of our other athletes on as they take on a new challenge this week, and maybe stay for tacos and beverages, too.
