Coming Soon: Weightlifting 101


Yep, it’s here.

For some time now we’ve been hearing our community ask for an opportunity to improve their weightlifting -- to really zoom in on and refine skills and strength in the snatch and clean & jerk. We’re happy to tell you that we’ve been listening and busily working behind the scenes to create the best weightlifting specialty course imaginable, and it’s finally time to roll out our inaugural run of the No Boundaries Weightlifting 101 Specialty Course.

Now here’s the thing: in the wrong hands, weightlifting can be boring. The good news is, we’re pretty big believers in the idea that this fitness stuff should be fun. So we’ve made just that: a weightlifting specialty course that’s meant to be both FUN and effective. This ain’t your grandma’s weightlifting course (unless she’s really into having a good time while getting stronger, faster, and more powerful, learning new exercises, and improving her Olympic lifts, in which case she’s invited, too).

What you can expect from Weightlifting 101:

- Improved skill, strength, speed, power, and all-around fitness - Improve your snatch and clean & jerk, move faster and with better proficiency.
- New exercises - Learn new exercises designed to help you improve your weaknesses and move better and with more confidence in the snatch and clean & jerk.
- Skills and drills - Every day will include skills and drills to fine tune your position and form, plus…
- Heavy things - We’ll move lots of heavy things. Our goal is to get stronger, after all.
- High fives - Mandatory.

Weightlifting 101 is set to start September 11th, with classes 2x per week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:15-8:15PM. The cost of the course is $350 for members and $400 for non-members.
