A Return to the Drawing Board


We’ve reached the end of our “in-season” with the finale of the 2017 CrossFit Open, and we’re grateful for the opportunities it has created for us to come together as a community and test the fruits of our training and to celebrate what we’ve accomplished. Whether you participated in the Open or not, we have been observing, gathering data, noting each of your challenges, successes, and failures. We have taken this opportunity to reflect on what we’ve done well, what we could do better, and how we’re going to implement these changes to give ourselves the best trajectory forward.

This return to the drawing board is a necessary step in any individual’s or organization’s path to betterment. Without regular opportunities to stop and ask yourself, “How did that go? Could it be better? And how?” you’re doomed to plateau, to burn out, to make the same mistakes over and over. This is our new year, our day one, and we’re stoked for what’s in store.
