05162020 - REMINDER: INTRODUCING ASHTANGA TOMORROW

temp-post-image

The current “stay at home” order changed many aspects of daily life for all of us. Communities around the world were forced to reconsider what is essential and non-essential with regard to daily life. We consider our organization essential and we made the decision to forge ahead by adjusting our program to fit within the current government mandate. Originally our program was designed with five days of training with two days of rest and we adjusted the program to three days of training and one day of rest. This created an excellent opportunity to not only offer more training days but also incorporate other vital practices to the program on our “rest days.” That change brought about our Lifestyle Series, Introducing Ashtanga and Introducing Breathwork. This series provides an introductory, guided, practice centered around the essential components of both mobility and breathing.

Tomorrow, Sunday, May 17, 2020, Introducing Ashtanga returns at 12:00 pm. This is a 30-40min guided practice with our very own May and Madison. Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic, flowing practice centered around breathwork and movement. The method stresses the importance of breathing through a set series of movements and postures. This is meant to be a short course in a developing effort. Come prepared with a space to follow along in and a mat or blanket.

We offer this series to everyone seeking a place of community and growth. Please register for the event here. Or contact us for registration details by clicking here. If you are a current student and are unable to attend, we will make the class available to you online.

See you out there. #developyourself
