"Just take it..."

Some days are just like this.

We come in ready to put it all on the line. To push past our boundaries, challenge our competition, defy gravity, beat our personal best...whatever it is we are there with a fire in our belly and the will to fight the devil.

As a coach, I really love those moments and so do you. I can see it and hear it as you congratulate one another or talk about how you didn't think you could do it, etc. Even better yet is the support of all those that witnessed it...your effort is contagious. Those moments set the tone for your class and the class after you. We are all impacted by that genuine all out effort.

What would happen if you committed yourself to all of life's endeavors with the same fervor and intensity? I bet you would probably find a great deal of success in your life, in ways you can't even imagine.

Now, not every effort has to end up with you writhing on the floor gasping for air...but if you applied the same mindset and adjusted the perspective to match the challenge you would still see a high rate of return for your effort. I know that's a very general comment to make, but think about how that idea applies in your own life...gym or otherwise.

What will help start that fire in your belly? Think about it...then do something about it!!!
